2 man uw- mo/me or mo/w?
i wanna get my soon to be 55 monk into uw with an ss friend, and i have heard both these monk builds work. i know that you can echo sb with a /me, but the /war lets u use other skills too. what is better for 2 man uw?

You could probably ask this question in the Farming subforum, you'll likely get more answers. I haven't done any UW run in a few months, so I cannot really tell how a SB farming build works. I used a mo/me, and I usually carried archane echo and Sympathetic Visage on me. I was doing runs with a friend and I was tryin to unload her work as much as I could. Double SV against darknesses and smiters, double (or single) spellbreaker vs coldfires. Worked wonderfully.

spirit bonders can tank more foes very effectively (the more, the better it works realy) which realy speeds up the process.
So if you're just starting out as an UW tank, i'd suggest you go pick up spirit bond in factions.
The protective spirit/spirit bond combo is a bit bugged : spirit bond will heal you if the initial damage was above 60, prot spirit will scale that damage down to 10% of your HP, so the combo will effectively heal you each hit, enabling you to tank an infinite number of foes ...
but indeed, like arya already pointed out, check the farming forums, lots of info there.

55hp with healing breeze AND spirit bond!
You don't need an echo SB usually, the standard setup is /w for bonetti's defence.

HAHA ^^

http://files.filefront.com/8_aatxe_a.../fileinfo.html
I managed to do all that with one of them there dead 55's and with a lame necro primary too.
Did I mention 15 mins or less solo smite runs? ( not running straight to smite level either like other builds.)
To stay on topic do as avarre says run spirit bond. Hp total really isnt important since mostly everything will kill you in 10 hits with ps up. There's a post by a forum member named makosi with a good build for a monk tank located here in the farming section.

10 hits? yea right skys the limit ^
Why is your party bar off in your smite video? maby because its almost impossible to get there w/o SB in your team?
I dont even think aoe solo 55's before the nerf or spirit bonders can get under 15 mins your video's / post is complete bs post a full video then i'll believe you

lmao, you obviously have no clue who I am. AS a matter of fact I already have a 15 min 38 sec video recorded and I could have easily completed the run that I have recorded in under 15 mins. Strange things called lag tend to happen w/e you are leading 20 + smites around and dodging multiple Aoe maelstorms.
Like to place a bet?
Need spelbreaker to get to smites? lmfao. Sounds pretty nubarific to me, but if you insist its getting uploaded now. Really with all the solo videos I have cranked out I get called out on having my party screen turned off in 1 video is great. lmfao get real. Not to mention people are already running this build with extreme efficiency and are easily clearing a smite run in 15-20 mins SOLO. Thats the same average time the majority of 2 man teams can even hope to complete their runs in.
Btw guy , reading comprehension ftw. "Hp total really isnt important since mostly everything will kill you in 10 hits with ps up." Was there any mention of spirit bond in this statement? No there wasn't. Do I know that the sky is the limit with PS and spirit bond AS long as your taking the required damage....obviously. Otherwise that little sucky 55 hp that is dead wouldnt be sitting in 23 smites and slaying 5 coldfires to gather everything up.
Seriously those 2 man pics are unimpressive anyone can do that with spellbreaker.

Here's a 15:38 for ya
By all means not a flawless run, I could have easily shaved time off and finished in 14 mins + seconds. Watch it and you can see how easy it would be to beat that time. Had a really laggy night when I made that video.

Have fun dling, I had as much fun uploading it.

holy...shit....that's amazing....
goes to download another one of Godlike's videos, I still have the 180megs of videos from your first set of UW vids
Edit: For the person posting those screenies w/ them tanking w/ Prot+SB...I'm pretty sure I can do that w/o Spirit Bond, so nice try trying to impress...
As far as which secondary I'd go Mo/W, as Bonetti's works wonders when tanking large amounts as well as serving as amazing energy management.
